Trial rides with a prep lesson. Explore Iceland’s stunning landscape on horseback. We take the time to give each rider a prep lesson in our indoor arena before heading out on the trail. This ensures you’ll be confident, comfortable and prepared for your ride. This is perfect for beginners and those who are riding an Icelandic horse for the first time.

Trail Ride for Intermediate Riders

This ride is for intermediate riders who are comfortable controlling their horse at faster gaits. We’ll enjoy varied terrain and mountain views while experiencing the Icelandic horse in its natural environment. A perfect balance of adventure, beautiful scenery and connection with the horse. We take the time to give each rider a prep lesson in our indoor arena before heading out on the trail.

  • Duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes

  • Riding gear and protection helmet included

  • Guided Tour in english.

  • ISK 24.500,- per person

In partnership with Sindrastaðir Farm in North Iceland, we are pleased to offer exclusive private riding experiences for guests seeking a highly personalized day in the saddle.

These bespoke tours provide the opportunity to ride selected Icelandic stallions through the beautiful landscapes of North Iceland, accompanied by experienced local guides. Each ride is tailored to the wishes and riding ability of the individual guest, allowing plenty of time to enjoy both the horses and the surrounding nature.

Sindrastaðir is known for its excellent facilities, beautiful horses, and deep passion for the Icelandic horse. Whether you are interested in experiencing the unique character of a stallion, exploring the countryside at your own pace, or creating a special riding day with family or friends, these private tours offer a memorable and authentic Icelandic horse experience.
