Reservations & Payments
For Hestaland tours, treks, and retreats, a 50% deposit per person is required to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance is due 120 days prior to the tour start date. If final payment is not received by the due date, Hestaland reserves the right to cancel the reservation and release the space to another guest.
For reservations made less than 120 days prior to the tour start date, full payment is required to confirm your reservation. Winter Workshops require full payment at the time of booking to confirm and reserve your place.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email and are effective on the date received. A confirmed reservation may be transferred to another person approved by Hestaland for the same tour, provided we receive notice at least 30 days before the tour start date. Any costs associated with transferring the reservation are the responsibility of the guest.
Payments are non-transferable to a future Hestaland tour.
Due to the limited availability of our tours and the advance commitments required to operate them, all payments, including deposits and final balances, are non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect your investment in the event of illness, injury, flight disruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances that prevent you from traveling.
In the unlikely event that Hestaland must cancel a tour, all payments made directly to Hestaland will be refunded in full. Hestaland is not responsible for any additional expenses incurred by guests, including airfare, hotels, travel insurance, or other travel arrangements. Hestaland reserves the right to modify itineraries, accommodations, guides, horses, ride routes, or daily activities when necessary due to weather, trail conditions, horse welfare, safety considerations, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Hestaland cannot be held responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government actions, strikes, pandemics, or transportation disruptions.
