Would you like to volunteer at Hestaland?

At Hestaland we cooperate closely with schools and institutions from all over the world. Gudmar graduated from Hólar University and is eager to share his knowledge with you. We’ve welcomed many volunteers with various backgrounds over the last few years, and we are always happy to see people show interest in learning from us.

What you can expect:

• learn from experienced trainers who studied at the well-known and respected Hólar University
• gain experience with lots of different horses
• improve your riding skills
• gain insight into what goes into managing a breeding and training farm

What we expect:

• an open-minded and positive person
• reliability and independence
• previous experience with Icelandic horses
